Your gift honors the life and legacy of Dennis Arthur Smith — a teacher, coach, historian, and lifelong Oceanside resident.

This scholarship fund was created by Dennis’s family and friends to continue his passion for history and education. Each year, two graduating seniors (one from Oceanside High School and one from El Camino High School) will each receive a $1,000 scholarship to pursue a degree in history or education.

By donating, you are helping future students follow in Dennis’s footsteps and keeping his memory alive in the community he loved.
